6 Sided Object Brass
This is a 6 sided object that I worked on for the Fine Metals class.

It all started with a 16 gauge piece of brass. It started as a piece of paper then I cut out and folded it in to a 3 dimensional 6 sided object.
I then took took one of the pieces of paper and drew lines on the creases. Once that is done I cut it out and put those lines on the piece of metal the same way they were on the paper.
I then scored them in to the metal. I then cut them in a 45 degree angle in to the metal. I did this so when it is folded I will be able to solder it.

Here it is folded and soldered with 2 more sides soldered on to it. Notice the color change from the heat. Also notice that the sides are slightly larger.... This is because I want to file and sand it down to get the corners I want to.

Here is the same picture, but from a different angle.

Finished project, sanded, buffed and polished.
